Murn grows up!
As a kid myself and my little sister (by 21 mths) used to play House, my name was 'Murn' as was hers, weird huh? To this day myself and my sister don't know where we got the name Murn from, we were a little twisted. So this blog is where I post my daily happenings as a 32 yr old Murn who doesn't play a grown up any longer but as a real grown up with 4 kids and thankfully neither are named Murn.

It's still Christmas Eve and I'm pissed off...
I wasn't feeling good and I lid down tonight around 7 pm and the boys were still awake, they were suppose to go to bed at 8 anyhow and my husband told me to lay down and he'll take care of things so I did.
Well I wake up at 10pm and only 1 kid has his new pjs on and there's no cookies & milk out for Santa and there were NO gd pictures taken!!!
Wtf? did this moron (dh) grow up in the backwoods or on planet Moron?
Everyone knows pictures, new pjs and cookies are the most important things before kids go to bed.
PLUS! It's now 12:28 am still no mom and dad, they were suppose to come down for gift exchange and to bring down a few goodies for the kids on Christmas eve and their fucking phone is off the hook. People suck shit.

It's Christmas freakin' Eve!
Early this morning I watch a couple of movies, which included Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon, WOW! what a mind fuck of a movie, very upsetting though.
Here's the trailer:

I had it created by VCAD , she's an awesome artist. It portrays my parents when they first met, dad was A milk man (NOT really a man, he was only 15 LOL) and asked my mom for directions even though he knew where it was. Everything is down to a tee, including his ghetto paint splattered Northstar high tops! LOL
After that we'll just chill out watching movies until the boys go to bed and I'll stuff my face again and just browse online until I get tired.
I am up early today so it may be a early night for me anyhow.

Bulgaria's Abandoned Children (Google Vid)
The most heartbreaking of documentaries I have ever witnessed.
You must watch it though, it makes you thankful and sad at the same time, give your kids a big ass hug after you watch.
Summary:
Director Kate Blewett visits a children's care home in Bulgaria and investigates the conditions in which the children live.
Following the completion of the film, the production team offered the Bulgarian Embassy in London the opportunity to comment on the findings made in the course of filming the documentary:

Well Xmas shopping is done!
That's the good news, bad news: and I didn't get to go to TO like I mentioned in my last entry and I am now broke until early January.
I was broke within 2 hours of shopping and couldn't go without money to spend. :(
Now my friend is pissed off at me because I stood him up. LOL shit happens.
So I sit here at 7 am bored out of my mind and preparing to make rice krispy peanut butter balls and squares. Dad is bringing me down home made pickles (recipe to follow, if I can find the damn thing) and snowballs, it's not Christmas without Newfie snowballs to munch on and leave for Santy Clause on Xmas eve.
The T's are excited and I am too, but not because I get anything (I never do :( ) but because my kids are. It's about them!
I will be back with another entry in a few with a link to a sad documentary I just finished watching and again tonight; because I plan to post and update regularly just to vent my troubles. :) so get used to it!!!
Recipe for Newfie "pickle" or chutney. Yummy with cold plates and Turkey dinner. Best served cold, like the way you use Cranberry sauce.
35 min 15 min prep
RECIPE FOR SNOWBALLS:
In a large saucepan, combine and boil together gently over medium high heat for 5 minutes or until mixture reaches about 230 degrees F on a candy thermometer:
3 cups sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
1 & 1/4 cups milk
Once mixture begins to boil it is very important not to stir it at all.
Mix together
3 cups large rolled oats
1 cup unsweetened fine coconut
12 tbsp cocoa
Add the boiled mixture to the dry ingredients until well combined and chill until mixture is able to be shaped into 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll the balls in additional coconut. Makes about 4 dozen. These freeze very well.

Stuff and more stuff
Let's see!
Christmas is coming and I don't want it to yet, January would be fucking awesome.
I still need to get things for T 3, Eric, Ky, clothes for all the kids and cert. for T 1.
I have $300 to work with here, I'm going to TO on Saturday and I'm only going to take $50 because I know I'll blow it on Little India. LOL
T 2 got his teeth out yesterday, poor guy wouldn't take the gauze from his mouth for about 4 hours because he didn't want to taste blood. LOL
He's okay now and back to eating! which I am happy about because he didn't want to eat before the extraction because of a tooth-ache.
Well enough for now, I'll be back bitches!

What did I fucking do today? HMMM
NOTHING!
I woke up, got the boys off to school and chilled on the pc in between cleaning and cooking dinner. YAY!
Pre-report cards came home today and apparently I need to STOP helping (doing) Tay's homework with (for) him.
He needs to do things on his own but it's quicker if I help him, if I didn't help we'll be at the table for 3 or 4 hours and I love this mommy stuff but doing homework for that period of time is just fucking ridiculous if not homeschooly and I don't DO homeschool, bitches.
So now it's 12:45 AM and I sit here chilling some more listening to podcasts and window shopping on eBay and etsy.
I NEED a life and neither of those places seem to be selling one. :(
